I purchased this conditioner a while back. I liked it enough to add it to my holy grail list but I never actually did a review on it; shame on me. So here it goes. Now the #1 reason that I purchased this product is because I was looking for a good deep conditioner without strong proteins. My hair is protein sensitive and a lot of deep treatments contain too much protein for my hair’s liking. I like this conditioner, I think it does a good job and the price point of $1 per ounce is a great for a boutique product.
I think the product works well as a classic deep conditioner, however on a tip from vlogger Makeupanbeautyjunkie I decided to use it as a DC while steaming. This made it work even better! The overall grade of this product for me with steaming is a B+. Things that I feel could be improved would be to put the product in a bottle instead of a jar because it is not thick enough to scoop out. Also because it is a runny conditioner I feel that it should have more slip. The slip is just average and I would not detangle with it alone. I also think it could stand to be a little bit thicker and I would love to see the addition of cocoa butter or similar ingredient. Check out my complete YouTube review below:
